Winding rivers and dancing clouds,
An emerald sea, shining in the breeze,
And I feel your mane against my face,
As we thunder along the valley floor.
Screaming wind and tears are sprung,
Running currents like the river,
You charge like a lion,
And we are one along the valley floor
As I near the edge I call your name,
Put my hand aside the sweating neck,
And realize in a starchy voice,
That you are gone instead.
And I am alone, on the valley floor.
Grasping the last of your mane.
The wind tearing tears from my eyes.
As I long for you
